MRPC, PDC, and Injectech Join Forces as One Medical Manufacturer

The three businesses were acquired by Vance Street Capital between 2021 and 2025 and have since integrated their leadership, engineering, and commercial teams.

MRPC, Plastic Design Company (PDC), and Injectech revealed that the three companies will begin to operate as one organization serving the medical device, life science, and bioprocessing markets. A unified company name and brand will be released early next year.

The combined company boasts more than a century of manufacturing experience across multiple U.S. facilities, with capabilities spanning micro molding, silicone and thermoplastic molding and assembly, and catalog and custom fluid-management components.

The three businesses were acquired by Vance Street Capital between 2021 and 2025 and have since integrated their leadership, engineering, and commercial teams. The consolidation creates a single organization offering customers coordinated access to capabilities that previously required multiple suppliers.

The company plans to continue investing in personnel, technology, capacity, and complementary capabilities to support the production of engineered components, subassemblies, and finished devices at scale.

MRPC CEO Greg Riemer was appointed chief executive of the newly combined company. Riemer brings more than 30 years of experience in plastic, silicone, and rubber molding. He became MRPC president in 2010 after serving as COO and has since led acquisitions, expanded cleanroom and molding capacity, and broadened finished-device manufacturing.

The combined company’s capabilities include silicone and thermoplastic molding, including LSR, HCR, rubber, and multi-material molding; precision and micro injection molding, including micro-on-macro and overmolding, using polymers such as PEEK, COP, and COC; and in-house tooling, mold making, design for manufacturability, and process development. It also provides cleanroom assembly, packaging, sterilization management, and supply chain services.

Fluid-management capabilities from Injectech and Resenex include luer connectors, check valves, barbed and shielded connectors, tubing connectors, and spikes, available as catalog or custom products.

As of the time of this announcement, the companies said all five manufacturing sites will operate with the same teams and the same quality systems and certifications.

Comments from MRPC and Vance Street

Riemer: “Highly engineered medical manufacturing rewards depth. Each of these businesses was built by people who cared deeply about their craft and their customers. Individually, each of these companies is exceptional at what they do. Together, we can take a customer from a micro-molded component or a molded silicone seal all the way through cleanroom assembly, packaging and sterilization management and give them a catalog of proven fluid management components. Bringing them together gives those teams more resources, more capacity and a wider set of problems they can solve.”

Steve Sandbo, partner at Vance Street Capital and chairman for the combined company: “This is an exciting step because it addresses a real challenge for medical device companies. Customers often have to coordinate several specialized manufacturers to move one complex program forward. This combination gives them a clearer path to the expertise they need across components, assemblies and finished devices and strengthens how we support them.”

David Montecalvo, senior operating partner at Vance Street Capital: “MRPC, PDC and Injectech each bring differentiated technical capabilities and a history of solving difficult manufacturing problems. Riemer’s manufacturing background, customer focus and proven leadership give us confidence that bringing these businesses together under his direction creates a strong foundation for continued investment in technology, talent and capacity.”
